Nick Schulte

Nick discovered Grey Havens through Harry Potter book discussions in 2016. He was quickly trained as a facilitator for adult and youth philosophy discussions. He became Board President in 2022 and is excited to lead Grey Havens through its next chapter. Nick holds a PhD in Environmental Studies from University of Colorado Boulder and is an environmental scientist in Boulder.

Ivona Elenton

Ivona is a founding member of Grey Havens and is the organization’s longest standing Board member. She co-facilitates our youth camps and intergenerational philosophy discussions. Ivona studied Archival Sciences at Uppsala University in Sweden and is trained as a paralegal. She is currently a copy editor based out of Denver.

Susan Ihns

Facilitator-in-training

Susan joined Grey Havens as a volunteer with our summer camp for children, Hogwarts Preparatory Academy. She is passionate about encouraging deep, philosophical thinking and is currently training to become a facilitator for adult discussion groups. Susan has a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. She is now retired from a career as a systems architect and business analyst for Verizon.

Robyn Bosica

Grey Havens YA Lead

Robyn co-founded Grey Havens and leads our young adult group, Grey Havens YA. She also facilitates intergenerational philosophy discussions at the Longmont Senior Center. Robyn has a Bachelor’s degree in English from Towson University in Maryland and is an administrative assistant with the City of Longmont.

Kelly Cowling

Kelly founded Grey Havens and directed the organization until her retirement in 2021. With Robyn, she developed our approach of Geek Philosophy. Kelly is an indispensable member of the global P4C community, having served on the Education Committee of PLATO prior to her retirement. She studied P4C in the Analytic Teaching Program at Texas Wesleyan University in the early 1990s. She has a Master’s degree in Religious Studies from Naropa University in Boulder.
