These practices open up a whole new world of reading experiences and provide new and deeper perspectives on life. We’ll teach you how to apply sacred reading practices to secular texts. Contemplative Reading helps you to get the most out of literature and life!
No prior experience necessary! Please arrive on time! If you arrive 15 minutes after the start you may not be admitted as it interrupts the practice for others.
You will need: Something to write on. A journal or notebook is recommended to continue this practice in future but good ole paper is fine too.
Something to write with. Pens, pencils, markers, whatever works for you.
This month is Pride! We’ll be working with poetry and or writing about Identity. What makes us who we are? What separates us and brings us together? How do our identities intersect with the world around us? Let’s explore the concept of identity together through an exploration of words.
Grey Havens is LGBTQ+ friendly, and we encourage a diversity of experiences, perspectives, and ideas in our discussions.
