Each month, this group discusses a book on a topic that can be difficult to talk about. Inspired by our moving and meaningful discussions on Death and Dying, our first book will be When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalinithi, a neurosurgeon’s exploration of the meaning of life in the face of his own mortality after a diagnosis of Stage IV lung cancer.
February 14th and March 14th we’ll discuss the foreword, prologue, and part I,
March 14th and April 11th we’ll discuss part 2 and epilogue.
Grey Havens is LGBTQ+ friendly, and we encourage a diversity of experiences, perspectives, and ideas in our discussions.
