Random Fandom Friday! Batman – An Online Discussion

This Friday we will be discussing the world’s greatest detective, the caped crusader himself, Batman! No prior knowledge of the series or philosophy experience required.

What does Batman stand for? Is he really necessary for the betterment of Gotham? What are the ethics of sidekicks? What should Bruce Wayne do with his money? There’s plenty to explore with this hero and we’re gonna talk about it.

Long-time fans and newcomers are welcome to join! We’ll be watching 2-3 clips and discussing as a group. Participation encouraged, but not required!

Grey Havens is LGBTQ+ friendly, and we encourage a diversity of experiences, perspectives, and ideas in our discussions.
Ages 14+ (younger folks are welcome with a parent or guardian)
No philosophy experience necessary. As part of the Grey Havens Philosophy Ethics Initiative, we will be exploring the most interesting ethical issues raised by our favorite fandoms.
