Join us every second Friday of the month from 6:00-7:30 p.m. (Mountain Time, North America) More details below.
Fantasy fiction has its roots in familiar myth and its branches in our wildest imagination. It gives us dragons and elves and teaches us a lot about what it means to be human. Join us the second Friday a month to discuss a different fantasy theme or fandom. No philosophical or magical experience required.
Registration is free! We will send you a Zoom link after you register. Register here: https://www.eventbrite.com/…/philosophy-fantasy-fiction…
Long-time fans and newcomers are welcome to join! We’ll be watching 2-3 clips and discussing as a group. Participation encouraged, but not required!
Grey Havens is LGBTQ+ friendly, and we encourage a diversity of experiences, perspectives, and ideas in our discussions. Ages 14+ (younger folks are welcome with a parent or guardian)
No philosophy experience necessary. As part of the Grey Havens Philosophy Ethics Initiative, we will be exploring the most interesting ethical issues raised by our favorite shows.
