Gender, Identity, & Philosophy – Pop Culture & Philosophy

November 14 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm MST

This discussion series is based on the belief that philosophy can and should be practiced by anyone, anywhere! Using the Geek Philosophy method created by Kelly Cowling and Robyn Bosica, film and television clips serve as inspiration for fascinating conversations. Discussions are led by trained facilitators from Grey Havens Philosophy, a local non-profit and part of the Philosophy Learning and Teaching Organization. All ages welcome- bring your kids and grandkids! Get ready #ToBoldlyThink.

Millennials and Generation Z have been described as more open to an expanded concept of gender than any other generations in American history. This is great news to some and a bit baffling to others. Join Grey Havens Philosophy for a frank, intergenerational discussion on the meaning of gender using examples from pop culture to get us started.

$4 resident, $5 non-resident and those under 55. Call 303-651-8411 to register and pay in advance, or bring exact change with you to the door.
