Grey Havens Group, Inc. uses an innovative teaching technique called Geek Philosophy in discussion groups for children, youth, and adults. Our goal is to promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth, to improve academic performance, to build community, to support people to be more engaged citizens, and to encourage creative and critical thinking. We offer a variety of community programs. Most of them are free of charge!

Your gift allows us to continue and even expand our unique, life-changing programming. Parents tell us that their children thrive when they take part in our discussions and events. A parent of a member of our young adult group, Grey Havens YA, had this to say about the impact we have had on her daughter’s life: “She learns and she is interested in learning. She gets ideas and puts them to use. This group has been a lifesaver for us.” Read more testimonials from families and some of our community partners.
Join us on Saturday, February 11th from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. for our next fundraiser at Lucky’s Market. For a donation of any amount, you get to take a surprise book or two home with you. We call it Blind Date with a Book!
We also welcome volunteers! We particularly need help with our website and social media, audio and video editing, and occasional event volunteers. We are also interested in hearing about your particular talent and how you would like to put it to use in support of our values of literacy, imagination, community, and inclusion! Contact us to let us know how you can help.
